It had been a long day. After exhausting every method of contact and checking all over the islands, Prompto was back home having to accept the terrible news. Gladio was gone. There was a big empty pit in his stomach that he wasn't sure how to fill. Maybe after Noct coming and going a few times he braced himself for Noct leaving again, but Gladio had stayed around for a while and it was his first time. Prompto had hoped that somehow that made it different. That he would stay with them.

Now it was back down to two in their party and the home felt so empty. But he didn't have time to fall apart. Iggy had it even worse than he did. Having skipped dinner - he honestly didn't feel hungry at the moment - he jogged straight over to their room as soon as he got home.
