Connor. Ignis has never properly been introduce to a Connor, but he's heard the name around in the man's presence before and they have had a few interactions, so it doesn't take Ignis long to put two and two together.

"Ah yes, the gentleman who I helped to steal a boat. We've not properly been introduced, but I've seen him around. I didn't realize you were friends with him. He's an...interesting fellow." Yes, 'interesting.' Ignis has never met someone like him before and he has yet to decide if it's a good or bad thing.

"That was wise of you. The mental changes the island cause can creep up very quickly. If you had stayed on the side with the camp, you likely would have been okay, but it's not always that easy. Some people's good traits magnified enough send them to the other side just because they are the kinds who will risk themselves so others don't have to in order to gather needed resources."

Ignis could talk more about some of his own experiences with the island, but he doesn't, instead making himself focus on Shion's question. Oh, there is so much he needs to talk about and he would hate to drop it all on one person, but Mira's return without her memories means the only other person he is really comfortable talking about these kinds of things with is gone.

And, of course, discussing Soma's disappearance from the island with Gladio and Ardyn now would be the worst of ideas. The understanding they came to on Monsun is going to be strained enough now that the island is gone. Ignis can't risk breaking it by talking about the person who actually made him realize it was okay to love alongside his duty.
