Ignis might not be able to see the look on Gladio's face, but when the Shield pulls back and doesn't say anything, he is immediately suspicious. Of course, before he can ask what Gladio's up to, his boyfriend is all but dragging him into the cottage. Even once inside, Ignis isn't given a change to catch his breath because he's quickly pushed up against the closed door as Gladio goes back to work on his neck.

Well, at least he doesn't have to ask what that pause was about.

Without thinking about it, Ignis slides his fingers into Gladio's hair and pulls gently. It's one way to get the Shield's attention when he can't find a way to make his voice work. Each time he tries to say Gladio's name, all that comes out are soft moans instead. It'd be embarrassing if Ignis stopped to think about it which is why he very specifically doesn't do that.
